Beijing Capital Airport sets zone for inbound flights' quarantine checks

In the face of the challenges from imported cases of the novel coronavirus, Beijing Capital International Airport will handle quarantine checks for all inbound flights in an isolated zone starting on Sunday, according to the airport.
The airport designated its Zone D in Terminal 3 as a special zone for all passengers disembarking from such flights to finish the health quarantine process, including body temperature screening and information inspection within the area, which is isolated from other passenger arrival channels at the airport.
The airport has provided "the shortest route" for inbound passengers to go through customs and border inspection as part of the effort to reduce the impact on them.
On Saturday, all inbound flights at Beijing Daxing International Airport were transferred to Beijing Capital International Airport as Beijing steps up efforts to minimize the risk of imported cases, according to Beijing municipal government.
