Guangzhou reports one local COVID-19 infection

A 37-year-old woman engaged in cleaning work for international flights in Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong province, tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday, local health authorities said.
The infected woman, who lives in a concentrated residential area specially designed for people with high-risk posts in the city's Huadu district, was identified during daily nucleic acid tests according to sources with the local health authority.
The woman, an asymptomatic carrier, was immediately sent to the Guangzhou No 8 People's Hospital for treatment.
Additionally, Shenzhen reported one more locally transmitted confirmed COVID-19 case on Friday, making the total number of cases 15 since the first two were detected in the city on Jan 7.
The latest case, a 49-year-old man in Shenzhen's Luohu district, was one of six members of a family who have already been infected, according to sources with the Shenzhen Municipal Health Commission.
