Working group dispatched to Xinjiang after asymptomatic cases reported

The National Health Commission on Monday dispatched a working group to guide COVID-19 prevention and control efforts in Ili Kazak autonomous prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region.
Two local asymptomatic COVID-19 virus carriers were reported on Sunday in Horgos.
The cases tested positive for the coronavirus on Sunday during regular nucleic acid testing and have been placed under quarantine and medical observation in a designated medical facility.
