JP Turtle Taxi gets popular
日本'龜速'出租車受追捧
Japanese Turtle Taxi, created by the Sanwa Kotsu Group, has been steadily growing in popularity ever since it started in December 2013, foreign media reported. The Sanwa Kotsu Group designated 10 of their 500 cabs in Yokohama as "turtle taxis", and specifically trained cab drivers to accelerate and decelerate as gently as possible. When a customer gets into a Turtle Taxi, they have to press a button labeled "Yukkuri" (which means slow) to let the driver know that the drive has got to be a slow one. The service is quite popular in Japan with senior citizens, pregnant women, mothers with young children and tourists who would like to take in more of the city while commuting.(See photo)
據(jù)外媒報道，日本三和交通集團(tuán)去年12月推出了一項"龜速"出租車服務(wù)，至今，該服務(wù)的需求一直在穩(wěn)步增長。三和交通將橫濱市500輛出租車中的10輛指定為"龜速出租車"，且每一輛都配有訓(xùn)練有素的出租車司機(jī)，平穩(wěn)控制車速。乘客上車后，按下"Yukkuri"(慢速)按鈕便可提醒司機(jī)減速慢行。這項服務(wù)在日本退休老人、孕婦、帶孩子的母親以及想要觀賞城市風(fēng)景的游客中大受歡迎。(見圖)
