The first Chinese mainland museum exhibition dedicated to Kinmen culture opened in Fujian province's coastal city of Quanzhou on Nov 26.

Kinmen are a small group of islands located two kilometers from the mainland home to rich and unique traditions. The museum has been established as a place of culture and art exchange. It aims to offer visitors a hands-on experience of Kinmen's exquisite craftsmanship expertise.

Located in the Wudianshi district, the museum is noteworthy for its aesthetic mixture of ancient and modern elements with traditional red-brick buildings interweaved with some western features.
