Badminton star Taufik Hidayat weds

Updated: 2006-02-06 09:11 Indonesian badminton star Taufik Hidayat ended his
bachelor days when he married Armi Dianti Gumelar at the Mulia Hotel in Senayan
here Saturday, Feb 4, 2006.
Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Vice President Jusuf Kalla
acted as witnesses during the solemnisation.
Armi Dianti is the daughter of Agum Gumelar, the Head of the National
Olympics Committee of Indonesia.
Taufik has practically won all titles that world badminton has to offer and
his biggest achievement was winning the men's singles gold at the 2004 Olympics
in Athens, Greece.
