Ming imperial tombs in Nanjing ( 2003-07-04 11:31) The Ming Imperial tombs in Nanjing, East China's Jiangsu Province, was included in the World Heritage List on a United Nations Education, Science and Culture Organization meeting held July 3, 2003. Zhu Yuanzhang, first emperor of the Ming Dynasty, was buried in the bombs. It
is seen as a showcase of the funeral architecture and culture centuries ago in
China.
