The event also featured the 5th Shanghai Intellectual Property Innovation Awards, honoring achievements in integrated circuits, smart sensors, skincare technology, and medical devices.

With over 63 high-value invention patents per 10,000 people, about one for every two invention patents, and more than 20,000 in the AI field, Shanghai shows how IP underpins innovation, drives development, and strengthens global connectivity.
