Heating up to stay warm in winter
Chinese power operators have intensified efforts to help residents stay warm during the heating season. On Thursday, staff members of State Grid Ruzhou visited Ruzhou Fengyang Thermal Co in Ruzhou, Henan province, and learned of its electricity needs as the heating season approaches. To ensure sufficient power supply during the season, the local power grid employees have set up a special "Warm Winter Power" service team to target the core power needs of heating enterprises. The team members have conducted precise measurements on power facilities at heating enterprises, so as to prevent hidden weaknesses. They have also launched a 24-hour emergency power hotline to ensure rapid response.
