The Chinese Embassy in Luxembourg, together with the China Cultural Center, the EU-China Chamber of Commerce, and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade representative office to the European Union, hosted a National Day reception and photo exhibition on Monday.
The event celebrated the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.

He underlined China's early and heavy sacrifices in resisting fascism, as well as the support received from many nations. Hua also noted that Taiwan's return to China remains a key part of the post-war order, affirming China's determination to safeguard its territorial integrity.
Hua praised the steady growth of China-Luxembourg relations over the past five decades, with expanding cooperation and flourishing people-to-people exchanges.
Over 300 guests attended, including Mars Di Bartolomeo, deputy speaker of Luxembourg parliament, senior officials, diplomats, business leaders, and Chinese community representatives.
