The Enterprise Committee of the China-BRICS Artificial Intelligence Development and Cooperation Center was officially launched at the Win-Win BRICS forum of the 2025 World AI Conference on Sunday.

The event also saw the release of the first key outcome, the Guidance Framework for Global Development of AI Enterprises.

"The framework is released to better guide the global expansion of AI enterprises," said Wei Liang, vice-president of China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT).

According to Wei, the global AI industry boasts massive scale and promising growth in emerging markets—with UN Trade and Development estimating that the global AI market will reach $4.8 trillion by 2033. In addition, new opportunities are created for differentiated growth and greater participation from emerging economies.

The event also witnessed the launch of the China-BRICS Artificial Intelligence Development and Cooperation Center's Intelligent Agent, and the release of the first achievement: the International Market Strategic Agent----Navigator.

Wei Kai, director of the Artificial Intelligent Research Institute with China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), said as enterprises expand into international AI markets, a database is needed to offer localized legal, policy, and market-related advisory services, to also support assessment and improvement based on a maturity model for enterprise globalization.

"Our database currently covers AI industry policies, trade zone regulations, and tax policies across more than 30 countries and regions. Going forward, we will continue to enhance its capabilities, making it a reliable assistant for BRICS enterprises pursuing global expansion," Wei added.

This sub-forum focused on AI cooperation and development among BRICS countries, featuring deep discussions on global open-source ecosystems, industrial application innovation, and governance frameworks. It aimed to promote coordinated AI development across BRICS through joint achievements spanning academia, industry, and application, according to the event organizer.

Furthermore, the BRICS AI Industry Collaboration Network and International Artificial Intelligence Industry Alliance (AIIA) Global-Link were also launched at the event.
