Beijing Sport University creating campus-to-career pipeline

Beijing Sport University and business enterprises have forged new pathways for employment, creating a pipeline from campus to career for students.
In partnership with leading companies like Anta, Li-Ning, Jordan and JD, the university is revolutionizing the approach to job placement.
The collaboration has seen success, with several 2025 graduates securing positions at prominent companies like sportswear firm Anta and major online retailer JD.
The university helps students gain industry experience, and meet the demand for skilled professionals in the sports sector through advanced research and practical projects.
Liu Hui, dean of the university's School of Sports Science, leads the Anta Olympic Technology Research and Development Project. She said the university offers a lab with large-scale testing equipment. Research projects aid students transit from academia to the workforce.
For example, research on exercise and sleep can support mattress design and balance testing can be used for fall prevention research in the elderly. Such research projects help students to meet the needs of enterprises, she said.
