GSI delivers dual-fuel PCTC to Nansha port, promotes green shipping


The vessel adopts an LNG/fuel dual fuel propulsion system and meets the Tier III emission standards of the International Maritime Organization, said the statement.
It is equipped with advanced intelligent ship systems that enable smart management of ship navigation, engine room, cargo, and other systems, effectively improving ship operation efficiency and safety.
The vessel adopts multiple energy-saving and emission-reduction technologies, such as hull line optimization, propeller fairing, and a main engine exhaust heat recovery system.
The 200-meter-long vessel, with a molded width of 38 meters, can reach a speed of 19 knots, equivalent to more than 35 kilometers per hour.
Located on Longxue Island at the mouth of the Pearl River, GSI is a subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corp and is a listed company on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
