On Nov 13, China Eastern Airlines increased its frequency of direct flights connecting Shanghai and Toronto to four times per week. Flights MU207/MU208 now operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays between the two cities, using a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
Previously, there was only one flight between the two cities every week. The change aims to improve communication between China and Canada, boost economic and cultural exchanges, and offer more travel options for passengers.
Last month, Air Canada decided to increase the number of direct flights connecting Shanghai and Toronto from four to seven a week starting Dec 7.
