Shanghai hotels ready for CIIE guests

SHANGHAI -- Shanghai's hotels are prepared for exhibitors and guests for the third China International Import Expo, which will be held from Nov 5 to 10, authorities said Tuesday.
The Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture and Tourism rolled out a recommending list of 1,151 hotels with a total of 192,000 rooms for CIIE guests, on the basis of their COVID-19 control experiences, operating situation, guest feedback, capacity and distances from the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), the venue for CIIE.
Among the hotels, 17 are located within 2 km of the venue, 80 are located between 2 to 5 km from the venue and over 860 are located some 10 km from the venue.
The hotels' names, addresses, telephone numbers, capacity, levels, parking and catering service information will be published on the CIIE website as well as online platforms such as Trip.com Group and Meituan.
Shanghai has rolled out a guideline for COVID-19 control for the hotels.
The city's authorities have been guiding the hotels in prevention, such as taking guests' body temperatures, recording their information and checking health kits.
