After a heavy snow in Harbin, capital of Northeast China's Heilongjiang province, students in Harbin Normal University were surprised to find a huge polar bear painted on the playground.
The 80-meter-long polar bear was created on the snow-covered playground over two days by more than 40 students from the Fine Arts College at the university.
"In recent years, the problem of global warming is still severe, and the living environment of polar bears has become more worrisome," said a participant. "Therefore, we spent two days on the huge painting, hoping to raise more awareness of environmental protection."
