Police on Monday urged rioters holed up in Hong Kong Polytechnic University to come out and surrender.
In a message to the rioters at a news briefing, a police spokesman advised them not to try their luck, saying that the only viable option for them is to come out and surrender. Under the rule of law, they will face a fair trial, the spokesman added.
