On Nov 17, rioters set fire on a pedestrian flyover at Hung Hom, causing multiple explosions loud enough to be heard from a block away. They threw firebombs that set an armored police vehicle on fire. In a statement, the police said that the rioters threw tens of gasoline bombs at the police within just half an hour.
